Women reign supreme in the remake of the aptly titled The Women. The wardrobe & hair alone are enough reason to check out this movie, but what really makes it a Spa Flick is that the entire story emanates from gossip told in a nail salon at an upscale department store. Think Chantecaille Energy Spa at Barney’s New York! And much of the movie was filmed on location at an actual spa the Bosse Sports and Health Club & Spa in Boston. Note – Female empowerment to the max no men allowed!

cup (240 ml) low-sodium V8 vegetable juice cocktail
2 tablespoons (30 ml) fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) prepared horseradish
1/4 teaspoon (1.25 ml) Tabasco sauce, or to taste
2 celery ribs with leaves
freshly ground pepper
Fill tall glasses with ice. Combine remaining ingredients except celery and pepper. Pour over the ice. Garnish with the celery and sprinkle generously with pepper. Serve at once
