Green Mountain at Fox Run, a women’s weight loss retreat in gorgeous Vermont, is hosting Living Well, A Woman’s Program for Mastering Diabetes Through Lifestyle Change: A Type 2 Diabetes Program on the following dates:
November 9 – 16, 2008
February 15 – 21, 2009
The program is co-presented by Joslin Diabetes Center , the world’s largest diabetes research center, clinic and educator that is affiliated with Harvard Medical School.
The focus is enlightening women with the knowledge they gain of healthy living and helping them figure out how to implement it in daily life.
This testimonial from a Green Mountain guest riveted me so much I nearly was in tears: “I was newly diagnosed with Type 2 before I came to Green Mountain and was taking 5 pills a day. . . After four weeks at Green Mountain I was off all meds.” What else can I say?
Visit Green Mountain’s site to register and read program details. And don’t forget to surf around while you’re there – they have loads of information on food, fitness and living with diabetes.
If you can’t attend these programs, go when you can, Green Mountain’s expert staff can still help you get excited about managing a healthy lifestyle. Green Mountain has been voted by SpaFinder’s readers as the top weight loss spa for 5 years in a row.
Until next time, See you at the Spa, Candy
